The Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) will conduct a public meeting to give stakeholders and citizens the opportunity to review and provide comments on transportation projects and programs to be included in the Fiscal Year 2020-2025 Six-Year Improvement Program. These projects and programs represent important improvements to address safety, congestion and preservation of Virginia’s transportation network.
The Staunton District Spring Six-Year Public Meeting will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC). For more information on Virginia's Transportation Funding, please visit www.virginiadot.org/projects/syp-default.asp. Meeting materials are available at http://www.ctb.virginia.gov/planning/springmeetings/default.asp.
Prior to the CTB six-year meeting there will also be an open house with information and opportunities for public feedback on the statewide, multimodal transportation plan, known as VTrans. This open house will be the first of four for the new Long-Range Transportation Plan update and will cover the vision and goals for the plan as well as information on the required statewide multimodal Needs Assessment. More information can be found at www.VTrans.org. There is no formal hearing for the VTrans open house. The VTrans public open house meeting will begin at 3:00 p.m. at BRCC in their multi-purpose room.
